The WatchGuard Firebox M5800 Network Security Firewall Appliance delivers up to 87 Gbps of firewall throughput and up to 11.3 Gbps with all security scanning engines enabled. Designed for demanding distributed and hub-and-spoke network environments, the M5800 combines high-performance security, flexible port density, and adaptable expansion options in a single enterprise firewall platform. This appliance must be purchased with a Standard Support, Basic Security, or Total Security license.

The Firebox M5800 includes two expansion bays that support modular configurations such as 4 x 10 Gb fiber, 8 x 1 Gb fiber, 8 x 1 Gb copper, 2 x 40 Gb fiber, or 1 x 40 Gb copper. The included 4 x 10 Gb SFP+ module provides high-speed connectivity, while the open architecture allows organizations to adjust port capacity as network requirements change. This modular design helps reduce disruptive hardware replacement as infrastructure evolves.

Built for availability, the WatchGuard M5800 features redundant hot-swappable power supplies and includes logging and reporting capabilities with more than 100 dashboards and reports, including PCI and HIPAA-focused options. Access Portal provides a clientless VPN solution for secure remote access without requiring a traditional VPN client. The package includes the Firebox M5800 appliance and a 4 x 10 Gb SFP+ module.
